The project is generally located west of Flandro Drive and East of the UPRR rail road tracks, and just north of the Amy’s Kitchen facility. The project includes installing 2590’ of 12” ductile iron water pipe, 2 fire hydrant assemblies, various 12” pipe fittings, 18” steel casing installed by boring and jacking under the rail road tracks. This project will connect the existing dead end pipeline on Bullock St to the 8-inch pipeline on Flandro Drive, providing additional system looping, and reducing dead end water stagnation in this area. Idaho Materials and Construction was the low bid with $315,315, this project will run through the Water Department budget. The work will start the spring of 2021 and will be completed in the summer of 2021.
