The right-of-way acquisition has been completed along with the majority of utilities. The anticipated construction date is still 2023.

The final design for the Hawthorne-Quinn Intersection project is complete. The Idaho Department of Transportation has restored the funding for this project for right-of-way acquisition to begin the summer of 2019, utility installation in 2020, and anticipated construction to start in 2023.

January 22, 2018

The Final Design has been completed and we are waiting for additional funding to purchase the right-of-way and utilities. Idaho Department of Transportation had a meeting on December 15th to discuss the timing of this project but it was removed from the agenda. As such, we are not certain what the scheduling impact will be for this project. This project will potentially be delayed as a result of the proposed development associated with the Siphon Road Interchange. We need to consider the ramifications this development may have on the traffic patterns in order to make the best decisions moving forward on the Hawthorne and Quinn Intersection Project.
