The improvements at the WPC are progressing. The solids handling building foundation is complete and underground piping is in progress. The project has faced supply chain issues relating to aeration basin parts and is working to resolve those. The digester tank is substantially complete from the exterior to the digester. The interior will be moving forward with insulation and water sample testing is expected in March. The digester mixer building is substantially complete. The compressor building will have floor being installed in March. Overall, the project has made progress and will continue to move forward.

November 8, 2023

Updates at the Water Pollution Control Facility are continuing. Current work includes masonry for mixing building, work on aeration basin #3 which is nearly complete, Digester #3 cover coating, and pouring for main foundation walls at solids handling building.

September 7, 2023

The upgrades at the Water Pollution Control Facility have begun. There is ongoing excavation, backfill, and dewatering at the Dewatering Building; concrete work at the digester mix building; and continued work on the AB 3 Aeration Piping installation.
