The City hired Keller Associates as the project consultant. This project is in Final Design and will go out to bid in the spring of 2018 with construction to follow. This section of the project will be ADA compliant with slopes of 5% or less and a hardened asphalt surface. The majority of the path will be 10 feet wide, narrowing to 8 feet where needed. This project is funded by a $436,634 Transportation Alternatives Project Grant (TAP) from Idaho Transportation Department and a $193,000 grant from Idaho State Parks and Recreation. The City of Pocatello is contributing in kind labor and the monetary component provided by the Greenway Foundation for the local match.

This project has been awarded to DL Beck Inc. The construction will begin on May 21st and is anticipated to be complete by July 2018.
