The Pocatello Creek Booster Station began regular operation at the beginning of December 2023. A few components remain to be installed that are not essential for basic operation of the station but important for long-term operation. The system provides capacity to supply up to 4,000 gallons per minute of water to the Highland tanks. The implementation of this project resolves a long-standing concern for the City by providing a secondary method of supplying water to the Highland area, which comprises approximately 20% of the Pocatello water system. The City and contractor will be working to finalize the few remaining components of the project and completing project closeout in the next few months.
